Chat
Every event has its own dedicated chat. Coordinate logistics, share ideas, and keep the conversation focused on that specific gig.
Why every event has its own chat
No more digging through a messy group text to find load-in time or what songs you're playing. In Amplee, every conversation is tied to a specific event.
When you're talking about Friday's show, that conversation stays with Friday's show—along with its setlist, roll call, notes, and files. Six months later, you can look back and see exactly what was discussed.
Message actions
Press and hold on any message to open the action bar. From there you can:
- React with emojis — Add a quick reaction without cluttering the chat
- Copy — Copy the message text to your clipboard
- Delete — Remove a message you sent
- Edit — Update your own messages after sending
These actions help you manage your conversations without adding extra messages to scroll through.
Tagging songs with @songs
Discussing setlist ideas? You can link directly to songs from your band's library right in the chat.
Type @songs in your message
A song selector will pop up with your band's library
Tap a song to insert it into your message
Tagged songs appear as tappable links. Your bandmates can tap to see song details, lyrics, or notes—great for discussing what to add to the setlist.
Pro tip
Use song tags when suggesting additions or changes to the setlist. It keeps everyone on the same page about which song you mean.
